‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ Update: What we know so far

Good news for the Japanese anime lovers! 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly' will hit the theater screens in Japan in a couple of weeks. The highly anticipated twentieth movie in the 'Dragon Ball' series is going to show up a special fighter. A recently released trailer shows Gogeta's appearance and fusion's brand new look.

So far, the appearance of Gogeta in 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly' was just anime enthusiasts' assumption. Japan held a special premiere event at Nippon Budokan of this upcoming movie on November 14 and there the attendees first saw Gogeta. Since then, a plenty of spoilers already flooded the social media citing Gogeta's epic entrance.

The viewers are quite passionate to know the details of how Gogeta achieves such huge powers following his stages of transformation. The new footage shows us how he looks in the new design, which from a closer look reminds of him in 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' games. He seems to be in a ferocious mode and the trailers suggest that he will be fighting Broly in the fiery planet.

Bin Shimada is returning to the role of Broly for the film, and Katsuhisa Houki is joining the cast as Paragus. The film will add two original characters – Chirai (voiced by Nana Mizuki) and Remo (by Tomokazu Sugita). Vic Mignogna and Dameon Clarke will return as the English voices of Broly and Paragus, respectively, and Chris Ayres will play Frieza.

'Dragon Ball Super: Broly' will hit the big screens in Japan on December 14, 2018. It will reportedly have 4DX screenings in Japan. The English dub movie will have it is a world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on December 13. Later, it will open in the United States and Canada on January 16.
