Muharram Processions Marked by Arrests and Investigations

Kashmir's Shia community followed the traditional Guru Bazar-Dalgate route, maintaining peace despite previous bans due to separatist concerns.

In Uttar Pradesh, authorities preemptively placed Uday Pratap Singh and his supporters under house arrest to prevent potential disruptions. An inquiry is ongoing following provocative slogans during a procession in Amethi.
