On the occasion of Ashadha Purnima, the 'Mudiya Purnima' fair and procession will be hosted in Govardhan town, with live telecasts for devotees unable to attend in person. Mahant Gopal Das of Shripad Raghunath Das Gaddi confirmed this decision, underscored by the sentiments of followers.
Commencing on Monday and continuing until Guru Purnima on July 12, the event promises a rich tapestry of religious activities. The Guru Purnima festival's highlight will be the Mudiya procession starting from Radhakund-Shyamkund at 5 pm, featuring parikrama and live broadcasts through the ID of Shripad Raghunath Das Gaddi.
Security measures are stringent, with vast police deployment, surveillance in key areas, and medical facilities in place. Around 3,700 officers and employees ensure smooth operations, including power supplies, bus services, divers, and temporary medical camps along the Parikrama route.
