Anticipation Rises for 'Stree 2': A Horrifyingly Hilarious Sequel

Producer Dinesh Vijan has confirmed that 'Stree 2' is written and will hit cinemas soon. Following the success of the original 2018 film and other movies in the horror-comedy universe, 'Stree 2' promises even more thrills and laughs, featuring most of the original cast and introducing a new ghostly terror.

Fans eagerly await the release of 'Stree 2', with producer Dinesh Vijan announcing that the script is complete and the film will arrive in cinemas soon. The original 'Stree', a 2018 horror-comedy about a small town haunted by a female ghost, garnered significant box office and critical acclaim.

Vijan's horror-comedy universe has expanded to include titles such as 'Roohi', 'Bhediya', and 'Munjya'. At the 'Stree 2' trailer launch, Vijan detailed his ambitious plans for the franchise, revealing that 'Stree 3' is already written and a new film called 'Thama' will follow. Most of the primary cast will return, with the sequel slated for an August 15 release.

'Stree 2' will feature the characters facing a new ghost named Sarkata, and delve further into Shraddha Kapoor's enigmatic role. Maddock Films promises the film will be their most entertaining yet, despite keeping much of the visual effects under wraps for the theatre experience. Kapoor humorously deflected questions about her marriage at the event.
