Marvel Pledges Patience in Next 'Blade' Production, Says Kevin Feige

Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, recently confirmed that the studio is committed to taking its time with the next 'Blade' movie, ensuring the project is done right.

Speaking to BlackTree TV, Feige highlighted the complexity of the project, which has seen two directors exit since its announcement in 2019. “For the last two years, as we’ve been trying to crack that movie, the most important thing for us is not rushing it and making sure we are making the right ‘Blade’ movie,'' Feige stated.

Feige also noted that the new 'Blade' movie is likely to be R-rated, continuing the tradition of the original films. Starring Mahershala Ali, the project aims to live up to the legacy left by the iconic 1998 film and its sequels, despite the recent directorial changes.
