Bollywood's box office struggles this year are just a phase, insists filmmaker Rohit Shetty. He encourages focusing on successful films as he eagerly anticipates his next release, 'Singham Again', hoping it will resonate with audiences.

Other than smaller films like Kiran Rao's 'Laapataa Ladies' and Rajkummar Rao's 'Srikanth', the first half has been tough with flops like 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and 'Maidaan'. Shetty, known for his blockbuster hits, isn't worried.

After commercial successes like 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', Shetty says genre assumptions are misguided. 'Films must be considered individually,' he notes. 'Singham Again', starring Ajay Devgn with appearances from Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, opens November 1 on Diwali.
