‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 finally gets a new trailer! It (the trailer) starts with the message ‘The Strongest Punch is Back!’ and at the end shows April 2019 is the release period, although it did not reveal the exact date of its premiere.
The newly released ‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 trailer teases, as usual, starts with the extremely overpowered superhero Saitama who can smash any opponent with a single punch with ease. He was also seen becoming bored with his superhero power due to the scarcity of robust opponents who can continue challenging him.
Considering his tediousness with his power, the series director earlier expressed his temptation to introduce a much stronger villain who would even have the ability to defeat the protagonist. And that promise to the Japanese superhero webcomic fans is likely to be fulfilled with the introduction of a new powerful antagonist Garou. The video says ‘Time to carry out evil, this will be a slaughter party’. It also talks about Garou who is a shadowy man who confronts the heroes.
The trailer further reveals the series main cast returning from Season 1 like Genos – a cyborg, Speed of Sound Sonic, Earth’s most powerful human King and Queen of Diva Hellish Blizzard including the protagonist Saitama. He, the titular One Punch Man, will be shown existing in a world that always confronts danger by the presence of supervillains. He is already declared as one of the most powerful creatures.
The trailer also writes: There are lots of super-strong bad guys in the world. The ones who stand up to them are call ‘heroes’. In the end, it displays the words ‘Supreme Power x Ultimate Fear’. It denotes that the antagonist Garou will try to shun the direct clash with Saitama by using devious means unlike the previous frontal fights.
We are not sure when and where ‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 will be available in other parts of the world, but the series will be available anytime in April 2019.
