Hartnett, known for his roles in films such as 'Black Hawk Down,' and 'Pearl Harbor,' stated, 'It's unlike anything else I've played. Taking on this character wouldn't have been possible without Night. You need somebody who you trust when you tackle something this wild.'

In 'Trap,' Hartnett plays Cooper, who accompanies his daughter to a pop concert that unexpectedly transforms into a police entrapment aimed at capturing him, a serial killer.
