Composer MM Keeravaani, recently an Academy Award winner for the song 'Naatu Naatu' from 'RRR,' asserts that accolades bring honor but not work. In an interview with PTI, Keeravaani highlighted that it is competence, not awards, that translates into more projects.

Keeravaani, known for his collaborations with 'RRR' director SS Rajamouli and filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Neeraj Pandey, emphasized the significance of a strong director-composer rapport. He underscored the role of childhood associations, notably his long-term collaboration with Rajamouli.

Reflecting on his Bollywood journey, Keeravaani credited Mahesh Bhatt as a guiding force, particularly with hits like 'Tum Mile Dil Khile.' He also touched upon his innovative approach to music through ancient Indian ragas, which he believes opens new musical dimensions. Keeravaani's next project, 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha,' stars Tabu and Ajay Devgn.
