Ritesh Khosla Appointed as New General Counsel at Sony Pictures Networks India

Sony Pictures Networks India has appointed Ritesh Khosla as the new General Counsel, effective September 1, 2024. He succeeds Ashok Nambissan and will oversee SPNI's Corporate Relations, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and other key functions. Ritesh brings over two decades of legal expertise to his new role.

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced the appointment of Ritesh Khosla as the new General Counsel, effective from September 1, 2024. He is set to succeed Ashok Nambissan, who is retiring after a distinguished tenure at the company.

Ritesh Khosla's career began as a practising lawyer before he joined SPNI. Over the past six years, he has served as Deputy General Counsel. With more than 20 years of legal experience encompassing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory frameworks, compliance, and intellectual property rights, Ritesh is well-equipped for his new role.

In addition to his core responsibilities, Ritesh will lead SPNI's Corporate Relations, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and Secretarial and Standards & Practices functions. He is also tasked with enhancing SPNI's compliance framework, particularly in digital and intellectual property rights, and will oversee the company's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. He reports directly to the Managing Director & CEO of SPNI.
