Tusshar Kapoor's Lucky Charm: The Iconic 'Lucky' from Golmaal

Actor Tusshar Kapoor reflects on his popular character Lucky from the Golmaal film franchise, comparing the role to a best friend. His new web series, 'Dus June Kii Raat-Chapter 1,' marks a new venture aiming to diversify his acting repertoire. Kapoor emphasizes the importance of not being typecast.

Actor Tusshar Kapoor affectionately describes Lucky, his iconic character from the hit comedy franchise 'Golmaal,' as akin to a best friend who accompanies him wherever he goes.

Kapoor's latest endeavor, the web series 'Dus June Kii Raat-Chapter 1,' directed by Tabrez Khan of 'Waaris' fame, began streaming on JioCinema last Sunday. The romantic comedy even makes a playful nod to the beloved character, although Lucky does not feature in the plot.

Kapoor underscores that Lucky has become a lasting part of his career, a 'good luck charm' that has earned widespread love, particularly from families and children. Despite this, he aims to avoid typecasting by taking on diverse roles, citing 'Dus June Kii Raat' as a pivotal step in his artistic reinvention.
