In a tragic incident, a 20-year-old man named Ovinder allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in a park located in Rohini. The event occurred on Sunday morning, officials reported.

A PCR call alerting authorities to the situation was received at the Vijay Vihar police station at approximately 5:30 a.m., according to a senior police officer. A police team promptly arrived at the scene and transported the body to Baba Saheb Ambedkar (BSA) hospital. Doctors at the hospital declared Ovinder as 'brought dead.'

Preliminary investigations revealed that Ovinder, who worked as a laborer, had an argument with his family the previous night regarding his alcohol consumption. Following the autopsy, police handed over his body to his family, with no foul play suspected in the incident.
