The Ministry of Women and Child Development announced on Monday a comprehensive reconstitution of the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) for the first time in over five decades.
The restructuring, approved in a meeting chaired by WCD Minister Annpurna Devi, reduces the General Body from 94 to 22 members and the Executive Council from 21 to 13 members.
NIPCCD, an organization under the WCD Ministry established in 1966, will now focus on training, research, mental health services, and supporting key missions such as Mission Poshan 2.0 and Mission Shakti.
