Mamata Banerjee Pays Homage to Former CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the residence of her predecessor, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who passed away on Thursday morning. Banerjee expressed shock and sadness at his demise. Left Front leaders and numerous party workers also gathered to pay their respects.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the residence of her predecessor, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who died on Thursday morning.

In a poignant moment, Banerjee, who shared her shock and grief in an X post, made her way to Bhattacharjee's two-room government apartment on Palm Avenue in south Kolkata.

Left Front chairman Biman Bose, CPI(M) state secretary Mohd Salim, and several other party leaders also visited, along with many party workers and members of the public, to pay their final respects.
