BEML Delivers Key Components for ISRO's Launch Vehicle Mk-3 Programme

Public sector unit BEML Ltd on Thursday delivered critical light alloy structures for the Launch Vehicle Mk-3 (LVM3) programme to ISRO.
Ajit Kumar Srivastav, BEML's Director (Defence), handed over these structures to Unnikrishnan Nair S, Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO, at BEML's Aerospace hangar in Bengaluru.
This handover represents a pivotal moment in BEML's ongoing collaboration with India's space initiatives, according to a statement by BEML. The Aerospace division has continuously proven its expertise in manufacturing and delivering high-quality light alloy structures for various ISRO programmes, including the Retro Motor Casings for the PSLV programme in 2018 and the Strap-on Base Shroud structure for the LVM3 in 2023.
BEML's Bengaluru Complex has a state-of-the-art Aerospace hangar equipped with advanced jigs, fixtures, and metrology instruments necessary for fabricating light alloy structures.
