DMK President and Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday hailed 'Murasoli,' the party's official organ, as an ideological weapon, urging cadres to share and propagate it.
On its 83rd foundation day, Stalin recounted Murasoli's evolution from a pamphlet to a daily newspaper and lauded late party patriarch M Karunanidhi for establishing it despite numerous challenges. Stalin reminisced about his youthful days, helping to distribute the newspaper and later working as a reporter and editor.
He emphasized the daily's role in preserving Tamil identity and highlighted efforts by DMK's youth wing, led by Minister Udhayanidhi, to make its rich history accessible to young people. Founded on August 10, 1942, Murasoli remains a significant tool for the Dravidian movement.
