Former Army Chief General Manoj Pande on Tuesday stressed the need for a collective approach to understand battlefield challenges and effectively use technology and training. Speaking at the seminar 'Battlefield Breakthroughs: Harnessing Technology for Victory' at Chandimandir Military Station, he shared the significance of coordination in military strategies.
Organized by Western Command and the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), New Delhi, the event featured various experts discussing the pace of technology in war-fighting. General Pande reiterated the importance of a collective approach to tackle battlefield issues using modern technology and training.
Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, GOC-in-C Western Command, highlighted the need for adaptability among officers and a steep learning curve in technology. Sessions focused on integrating emerging technologies to enhance operational capabilities and self-reliance in indigenous manufacturing and R&D.
