Tragic Accident Claims Five Lives in Aurangabad

Five residents of Patna were killed in Aurangabad district, Bihar, when their car fell into a canal. The accident happened near Chaman Bigha village. Authorities confirmed the victims were from Rajiv Nagar locality in Patna. They were returning from a shrine in Rohtas district when the tragedy struck.

In a tragic incident on Tuesday, five residents of Patna lost their lives as their car plunged into a canal in Bihar's Aurangabad district, according to local police.

Kumar Rishiraj, Sub Divisional Police Officer of Daudnagar, reported that the accident occurred in the morning near Chaman Bigha village. "Bodies of all five occupants have been exhumed. The vehicle owner was identified using the number plate. All deceased were identified as residents of Rajiv Nagar locality in Patna," Rishiraj stated.

The victims had visited a shrine in the neighboring Rohtas district and were on their way back when the driver lost control, leading to the fatal crash, added the SDPO.
