NTR Jr Completes Movie Shoot Despite Wrist Injury

Actor NTR Jr recently suffered a wrist injury but continued to complete his film shoot for 'Devara: Part 1'. His team confirmed his recovery and the film’s release date. He is also set to work on new projects, including a collaboration with 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel.

Actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr, popularly known as NTR Jr, recently endured a minor wrist injury while working out at the gym. On Wednesday, his team released an official statement providing an update on his health status.

According to the statement, 'Mr. NTR @tarak9999 has sustained a minor sprain to his left wrist a couple of days ago while working out in the gym. His hand has been immobilized with a cast as a precautionary measure. Despite the injury, Mr. NTR has completed the shoot for Devara last night and is now recuperating. The cast will be off in a couple of weeks, and he will be back at work soon. In the meantime, we request that speculation regarding this minor injury is avoided.'

NTR Jr took to social media platform X to share a picture from the movie set, revealing that he wrapped up shooting in Hyderabad on Tuesday. 'Just wrapped my final shot for Devara Part 1. What a wonderful journey it has been. I will miss the ocean of love and the incredible team. Can't wait for everyone to sail into the world crafted by Siva on the 27th of September,' he wrote.

Directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, 'Devara: Part 1' will hit theaters on September 27, 2024. The film, which also features Saif Ali Khan in a significant role, has been generating substantial buzz, especially after NTR Jr's recent comments at a Hyderabad event assured fans it would be worth the wait.

The actor is also collaborating with 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel on a new project, 'NTRNEEL.' The announcement was made following an auspicious muhurat puja attended by NTR Jr, Prashanth Neel, their families, and producers from NTR Arts and Mythri Movie Makers. 'NTRNEEL' promises to be a grand spectacle, leaving moviegoers eagerly anticipating its release.

NTR Jr's slate is packed, as he is also gearing up for 'War 2' alongside Hrithik Roshan, adding more excitement for his fans.
