External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is set to visit Kuwait on August 18, a move expected to bolster bilateral relations between the two nations, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
During his visit, Jaishankar will hold talks with Kuwait's Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. The discussions will focus on political, trade, investment, cultural, and people-to-people contacts.
In addition to meeting with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Jaishankar will also engage with other key leaders of the State of Kuwait. This visit comes in the wake of a tragic incident that saw the death of 45 Indians in a fire in June, underscoring the importance of bilateral cooperation.
