Uttarakhand Honors Fallen Hero Captain Deepak Singh
Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to Captain Deepak Singh at Jollygrant airport. They assured his grieving father, Mahesh Singh, of state support. Captain Singh, from the 48 Rashtriya Rifles, lost his life fighting terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.

Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami placed wreaths on the mortal remains of Captain Deepak Singh at Jollygrant airport.
They met the martyr's father, Mahesh Singh, to offer condolences and assured him of all possible support from the state government.
Captain Deepak Singh, a valiant officer of the 48 Rashtriya Rifles, was killed in a recent encounter with terrorists in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir. Both leaders emphasized that his sacrifice for the nation would inspire patriotism and assured ongoing support for his family.
