Suzuki Motorcycle India's Steady Growth Despite Export Dip

Suzuki Motorcycle India reported a slight increase in wholesales in August, with domestic sales rising by 5% but exports falling. The company is prepared to meet increasing demand as the festive season approaches, according to Executive Vice President Devashish Handa.

Suzuki Motorcycle India on Monday announced a modest 1 percent year-on-year increase in wholesales for August, tallying 1,04,800 units.

Comparatively, the company dispatched 1,03,336 units to dealers in August 2023. Domestic sales saw a 5 percent rise, reaching 87,480 units, up from 83,045 during the same period last year.

However, exports decreased to 17,320 units from 20,291 units reported in the year-ago period.

Executive Vice President - Sales, Marketing, and After Sales Devashish Handa stated, 'As we approach the festive season, we are ready to meet the increasing demand and continue delivering excellence in both products and services.'
