Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday stressed the need for enhancing the acceptance of Hindi across India without creating competition with other Indian languages.
Speaking to the newly formed Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, Shah highlighted the new education policy introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing mother tongue primary education. He noted that children connect better with various languages when they receive their foundational education in their native tongues.
Shah also emphasized the importance of Hindi in employment and technology sectors, mentioning that the government is actively working to integrate modern technologies with the Hindi language.
