‘Prison Break’ Season 6 was officially confirmed by Fox in January 2018. Fox also notified that it was working to develop a new iteration of Paul Scheuring-created television serial drama. Due to the urge of fans, the show has once again been revived and now we all are looking forward to knowing what’s going to happen after it had a totally outrageous finale.
‘Prison Break’ Season 5’s last episode ‘Behind the Eyes’ delivered absurd plot twist including a happy ending of Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller), still the avid viewers are clamouring for more. Sources say that the script was already completed a long time back and only the production is yet to be commenced.
Earlier, a hint was given by Paul Scheuring that ‘Prison Break’ Season 6 would take the viewers back to the beginning of the series, mainly when it was first started in August 2005. The returning of William Fichtner in the role of Alexander Mahone was also confirmed by Scheuring in March last year over Twitter while he notifying the viewers that “he had finished the 601 script” (which means the completion of Season 6’s episode 1’s script).
Although there is no information on the number of episodes for the upcoming season, sources say that it might be the same as the previous season (i.e., 9). Even the plot for Season 6 is still kept under wrap. However, we can give you the list of some main characters who are going to reprise their roles in the upcoming season – Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows, Sarah Wayne Callies as Sara Tancredi, Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre, Robert Knepper as Theodore Bagwell aka T-Bag, Inbar Lavi as Sheba, and Rockmond Dunbar as Benjamin Miles Franklin aka C-Note.
One good news for the series lover is that Season 6 of ‘Prison Break’ is going to take a confirmed slot for all its episodes over Netflix. Fans already enjoyed viewing all the episodes of Season 5 on Netflix from December 1.
