Tragic Factory Incident: Worker Electrocuted in Bhiwandi

A 65-year-old worker was electrocuted at a factory in Bhiwandi, Thane district, Maharashtra, police reported on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Ramsevak Bindeshwar Mandal, was operating in a powerloom unit in Devjinagar when he suffered an electric shock on Friday, according to an official from the Narpoli police station.

Mandal was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. Authorities have registered a case of accidental death in connection to the incident.
