Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the government will consult pontiffs, sages, and Hinduism experts to address the future course of action regarding allegations of animal fat adulteration in Tirupati laddus.

Speaking at an NDA legislative party meeting, Naidu accused the previous YSRCP government of using substandard ingredients in the laddus, which compromised their unique taste. He emphasized that the government would deliberate with various stakeholders before making a decision related to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, the custodian of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple.

Naidu assured that the government would prioritize the sanctity of temples and uphold devotees' traditions and sentiments. Highlighting the issue of alleged desecrations under the prior administration, he pointed to the improvements made under his leadership, including blacklisting suppliers and sourcing quality ingredients like ghee from Nandini.
