Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan Reunite: 'Thug Life' Wraps Up Shooting

Celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam has completed shooting for his upcoming movie 'Thug Life' featuring superstar Kamal Haasan. The two are reuniting after 35 years for Haasan’s 234th film. The movie, jointly produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, Raaj Kamal Films International, and Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, also stars a stellar cast.

Renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam has successfully finished filming 'Thug Life,' his highly anticipated movie starring Tamil cinema icon Kamal Haasan. This marks their first collaboration in 35 years since the critically acclaimed 1987 film 'Nayakan.'

The film 'Thug Life' is a significant project, co-produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, Raaj Kamal Films International, and Ratnam’s Madras Talkies. Haasan's production company revealed the completion of the shooting phase through an update on the social media platform X.

Adding to the film’s allure, 'Thug Life' features an impressive cast including Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Pankaj Tripathi, and others, with music composed by the legendary AR Rahman.
