Mukta Arts Lands Major Deal with Zee Entertainment

An 'assignment agreement and term sheet' has been signed between Mukta Arts and Zee Entertainment Enterprises, according to a regulatory filing.

The rights assignment, beginning August 25, 2027, comes with a 25% higher compensation compared to a previous agreement, the filing noted. In the financial year ending March 31, 2024, Mukta Arts reported revenue of Rs 275.16 crore. The company also produces TV and OTT content and operates multiplexes under Mukta A2 Cinemas.
