Griezmann, who was part of France's World Cup-winning team in 2018, posted on Instagram, saying, "It is with a heart full of memories that I close this chapter of my life. Thank you for this magnificent tricolour adventure and see you soon."

Throughout his career, he earned 137 international caps for France. The announcement marks the end of a significant era for the French national team, where Griezmann was a key figure.
