Renowned actor Govinda, beloved for his comic timing and dancing skills, is recovering after an accidental shooting incident at his Mumbai residence. The actor's revolver went off accidentally, injuring his leg, just as he was preparing to leave for the airport.
Govinda, 60, underwent surgery and has since been moved from the ICU to a normal ward. His daughter, Tina Ahuja, informed reporters that he is in good spirits and the family is hopeful for a swift discharge. Govinda's wife, Sunita, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans and assured them that he would soon be dancing again.
The Mumbai police, along with the crime branch, have launched investigations into the incident. Despite the concerning event, no formal complaints have been lodged. Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, who treated Govinda, confirmed that the actor sustained a bullet wound but is now on the path to recovery.
