Epic Creation: Dwarka's Colossal Ravana Effigy

The tallest Ravana effigy, standing at 211 feet, has been constructed in Dwarka by 40 artisans from Haryana. Costing Rs 30 lakh, it will be burned on Dussehra in a symbolic victory of good over evil. The effigy is made of iron and decorated with velvet cloth.

In an impressive display of craftsmanship, a towering 211-foot Ravana effigy has been constructed in southwest Delhi's Dwarka. Crafted by a dedicated team of 40 artisans from Haryana, this colossal figure has taken four months to complete and represents the city's tallest Ravana to date.

With a budget of Rs 30 lakh, the effigy will be set ablaze on Dussehra, October 12, symbolizing the eternal victory of good over evil. Notably, no paper was used in its construction, a point of pride for the organizers. The structure is adorned with velvet cloth and reinforced with iron.

The event, organized by the Ramlila Committee and chaired by Rajesh Gehlot, extends a traditional invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting the significance and grandiosity of the occasion. This year's celebration will also feature a 3D animated stage, adding further artistic flair to the festivities.
