Suits Season 9 may see Meghan Markel with baby bump for 1 episode, Will Patrick return?

Although ‘Suits’ Season 9 does not have a specific release date, still the Aaron Korsh-created USA Network series is creating headlines these days surrounding the comeback of Meghan Markle. Will the Duchess of Sussex return in atleast in any of the episodes of ‘Suits’?

It’s true ‘Suits’ Season 8 went for a hiatus after the airing of episode 10 titled ‘Managing Partner’ in September 2018 and officially the episode 11 titled ‘Rocky 8’ is slated to be aired on January 23. Some may argue that back half of the eighth season airing on January 23 is the starting of ‘Suits’ Season 9. However, there is so far no official declaration on it.

As far as Meghan Markle’s returning in ‘Suits’ Season 9 is concerned, fans surely missed her for a period after her exit from her dazzling role as Rachel Zane from the series’ start till Season 7. Her character Rachel also got a beautiful adieu, and that was her marital settlement with Patrick J Adams’ character Mike Ross who also exited the show after Season 7.

The returning of Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle in ‘Suits’ seems doubtful to us as the 37-year old British royal family member is no longer involved in any other television or movie project. Just before her engagement with Prince Harry, she already said goodbye to her acting career.

However, Daily Star recently reported that she has been offered ‘two to six millions’ to make her cameo in ‘Suits’ Season 9. The former American actress, who is currently pregnant, has been proposed for an opportunity to make millions for charity by just returning to her old television show for a single scene. And if this happens in reality, this will be considered one of the biggest marketing coups in the history of television.

Since the actress is pregnant, it is certain to be a problem for her to film. Hence, Daily Star was informed by one of its reliable sources saying, “We could create a storyline where Rachel and Mike have created new lives for themselves and are starting a family, with Rachel showing an obvious baby bump.

“I believe we could get away with only one or two lines from Rachel, perhaps saying how she would never have believed she would have such a wonderful life. This particular route would beautifully mirror real life,” the source added. However, the matter is absolutely at the initial stage and surely take time to have a mutual decision.

‘Suits’ Season 9 does not have an airing date. The series is expected to premiere in June or July this year, based on the airing periods of all the previous seasons.
