Union ministers Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan are set to unveil a new book titled "Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh: Through the Ages" this Thursday, according to officials from the education ministry.
The book aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the rich and complex history of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Designed to be accessible both to subject specialists and to general readers, it is structured into seven sections, covering over 3,000 years of history. Each section is thoughtfully illustrated, with each image selected to represent a significant era and its contributions to Indian history.
This publication is a collaborative effort between the National Book Trust, India, and the Indian Council of Historical Research. Available in both Hindi and English, it promises to offer valuable insights into the historical journey of the region.
