Hilton, a global leader in hospitality, announced on Wednesday a new agreement with the Army Welfare Placement Organisation to provide employment opportunities for veterans across South Asia.

The collaboration will focus on creating career avenues for retired army personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families. Hilton recognizes the inestimable service these individuals have given to their nation, according to the company's statement.

The Army Welfare Placement Organisation, a non-profit by the Indian Army, manages 17 regional offices and 49 placement centers throughout India. The partnership is founded on mutual values such as camaraderie and commitment, making veterans an ideal fit for the hospitality sector, highlighted Sabu Raghavan, Vice President of Human Resources at Hilton, South Asia.
