Chhaava: The New Box Office Drama Champion

The historical drama 'Chhaava', starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, has become the highest-grossing Hindi film this year. Earning Rs. 164.75 crore at the global box office on its opening weekend, it surpassed 'Skyforce'. Directed by Laxman Utekar, it chronicles the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna star in 'Chhaava', which has claimed the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, earning a staggering Rs 164.75 crore worldwide during its debut weekend.

The film, a historical drama directed by Laxman Utekar, surpassed the box office numbers of the previous leader, Akshay Kumar's 'Skyforce', which had garnered Rs 140 crore in its initial days.

'Chhaava', based on Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, features Kaushal in the titular role and Mandanna as his wife, Yesubai. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film marks another successful collaboration between Kaushal and Utekar.
