The director, renowned for his work on 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,' is spearheading the project. The adjustment in the release timeline situates 'Spider-Man 4' shortly after the debut of Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey,' which also features Holland and is set to premiere on July 17.

During an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' Holland revealed that production for the fourth installment will kick off in mid-2025. 'Next summer, we start shooting. Everything's good to go -- we're nearly there,' Holland stated enthusiastically.

Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker, a character he previously played in three Spider-Man movies directed by Jon Watts, with the last film achieving over a billion dollars in global box office revenue. The upcoming release mimics previous patterns, launching after a major Avengers movie.
