Madhya Pradesh is set to establish a sprawling spiritual city in Ujjain before the Simhastha Kumbh-2028, announced Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025.
The city, planned over 3,300 hectares, will include amenities like schools, colleges, and hospitals, aiming to bolster the state's potential for spiritual and wildlife tourism.
Investor-friendly policies are underway to attract private sector participation, with initiatives including enhanced connectivity through a new aviation policy and incentives for airlines, as well as an air ambulance service to promote medical tourism.
