The 97th Academy Awards is set to be an exciting event, hosted for the first time by the Emmy Award-winning Conan O’Brien. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 3, at the famed Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Highlighting this year’s ceremony, Queen Latifah will pay tribute to the legendary music prodigy Quincy Jones. Jones’s illustrious career boasts 28 Grammy Awards among a plethora of accolades. Executive producer Raj Kapoor emphatically announced Queen Latifah’s involvement during a recent press conference, describing the tribute as one of the most exciting parts of the event’s musical performances.

Other anticipated performances include a medley from 'Wicked' by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The stage will also witness appearances by Blackpink's Lisa, Doja Cat, and Raye. On the nominees' front, Timothee Chalamet is in the running for Best Actor for his role in 'A Complete Unknown', alongside notable actors like Adrien Brody, Colman Domingo, Ralph Fiennes, and Sebastian Stan. The nominations faced delays, revealed in January, after unprecedented wildfires ravaged Los Angeles.
