Amit Shah: Unveiling the Future of Cooperatives and Gujarati Literary Heritage

Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah announced a bright future for cooperatives under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with over 60 initiatives undertaken since the ministry's inception. Speaking at the centenary event of the Ahmedabad District Cooperative Bank, Shah emphasized the vital role of cooperatives in uplifting farmers and cattle rearers.
Highlighting the ministry's achievements, Shah mentioned the registration of 2 lakh primary cooperative societies and outlined the provisions allowing cooperative societies to engage in activities such as medicine distribution and fuel services. He underscored the importance of strong cooperative banks in bolstering the dairy sector.
In addition, Shah participated in a cultural event, releasing 24 reprinted books and unveiling a coin celebrating Jain Acharya Shrimad Buddhisagar Surishwarji's birth anniversary. He encouraged the preservation of Gujarati literary heritage, lauding efforts to establish libraries across Gujarat and promote a reading culture.
