Speaking at the 'Shashwat Mithila Mahotsav 2025', Shah announced plans to construct a grand Sita Mata temple, intending it to stand as a symbol of woman power and an ideal life model.

The minister remarked on the historical significance of the land of Mithila, describing its ancient kingdom of Videha as the cradle of democracy and a land that has nurtured intellectual debate and philosophies, contributing four of India's major philosophical traditions.
