Kunal Kemmu: Balancing Between Acting and Direction

Actor and director Kunal Kemmu is preparing to step back into the director’s chair but emphasizes that acting remains his primary passion. Kemmu, recognized for his roles in 'Malang', 'Traffic Signal', and the 'Golmaal' series, debuted as a director with 'Madgaon Express' last year, garnering significant box office success.

The film, featuring talents such as Avinash Tiwary and Nora Fatehi, earned Kemmu the 'Best Directorial Debut' award at the 25th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. Despite this foray into direction, Kemmu, 41, plans to resume acting in the upcoming months before tackling another directorial project.

Recently, he was seen in 'Kanjoos Makhichoos' alongside Shweta Tripathi, and he expressed his delight over India’s win at the ICC Champions Trophy. As IIFA concluded on Sunday in Jaipur, Kemmu shared his excitement about India’s performance, underscoring his enthusiasm for both his professional engagements and national achievements.
