President Murmu Embarks on Influential Punjab Visit

President Droupadi Murmu began her three-day visit to Punjab and Chandigarh, welcomed by prominent state officials. She attended events in Haryana and is set to partake in multiple convocation ceremonies in Bathinda and Chandigarh. A civic reception in Mohali highlights her itinerary.

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Chandigarh on Monday evening for a significant three-day visit to Punjab and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Her arrival was marked by a warm welcome from Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and Haryana's Nayab Singh Saini.

The President’s itinerary includes attending the convocation ceremonies at the Central University of Punjab and AIIMS in Bathinda, as well as Panjab University in Chandigarh. Her visit commenced following her participation in the convocation ceremony of Guru Jambheshwar University and a state-level campaign by Brahma Kumaris in Haryana's Hisar.

An esteemed civic reception organized by the Punjab government will be held in her honor at Mohali. This visit underscores President Murmu's commitment to educational and spiritual initiatives within the region.
