SheTrades India Hub: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs for Global Trade

The SheTrades India Hub, launched by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, aims to empower women entrepreneurs and enhance India's export capabilities. It focuses on integrating women-led businesses into global trade and is backed by the ITC and the UK Government's SheTrades Commonwealth+ Programme.

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has unveiled the SheTrades India Hub, a new initiative designed to empower women entrepreneurs and bolster the nation's export infrastructure.

This global collaboration, part of the International Trade Centre's (ITC) project and supported by the UK Government's SheTrades Commonwealth+ Programme, sees FIEO become the 20th host of a SheTrades Hub worldwide.

Director General of Foreign Trade, Santosh Kumar Sarangi, highlighted the vital role women entrepreneurs play in economic growth, stressing the importance of their inclusion in global commerce through this initiative.
