On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Dandi March, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reminded the nation of the pivotal role it played in India's struggle for Independence. The march, led by Mahatma Gandhi, continues to inspire people worldwide to adopt non-violence in their fight against injustice.

Chief Minister Adityanath, in a statement, highlighted the significance of March 12, 1930, when Gandhi launched the salt satyagraha from Sabarmati Ashram. This act of defiance against British salt laws provided a new direction in the freedom struggle and gathered momentum as thousands joined the cause.
