The Gandhi Gramam Foundation, under the leadership of senior Congress figure Ramesh Chennithala, is organizing a pivotal event - the 'Dalit Progress Conclave' on March 23. The conclave aims to galvanize a robust Dalit movement across India, focusing on significant societal issues that require urgent attention and action.

Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar will inaugurate this landmark event at the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology. The proceedings will be presided over by Ramesh Chennithala, with notable personalities such as Kerala Assembly Opposition leader V D Satheesan, Prakash Yashwant Ambedkar, and VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan among the esteemed attendees.

The conclave is structured into three critical sessions addressing the constitutional rights and violations faced by Dalits, women's empowerment, and the pervasive issues of unemployment and land rights.
