Operation Sindoor, a decisive military action by the Indian armed forces, has been hailed by Priya Darshani Achariya, who lost her husband in the Pahalgam terror attack. Achariya thanked the government for its bold step against terrorist groups in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
Her husband, Prashant Satpathy, was among the 26 fatalities in the April 22 attack. In the aftermath, missile strikes targeted nine locations, including Jaish-e-Mohammad's stronghold in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base in Muridke. Achariya emphasized the human cost of terrorism, stating that the strike reminds terrorists of the sanctity of human life.
She urged for an end to global terrorism, expressing the need for people to live without fear and for the continuation of efforts to root out terror threats. Achariya's sentiments were shared by Satpathy's family, who sought justice over financial compensation, emphasizing that the sacrifice has meaning only if it prevents future violence.
