The minister's visit comes in the wake of the devastating Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. Minister Shekhawat emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach, highlighting the aim to revitalize tourism to uplift local communities.

During his visit, Shekhawat paid respects at Mata Kheer Bhawani shrine and plans visits to Martand Surya Temple, Pahalgam, and Betaab Valley in Anantnag district, showcasing Jammu and Kashmir's rich cultural and historical tapestry.
