Pedro Pascal, renowned for his rugged facial hair, candidly shared his aversion to a clean-shaven appearance, especially after filming 'Wonder Woman 1984.' According to a report by Variety, Pascal found the look so unappealing that he vowed not to adopt it again unless absolutely necessary.

The actor portrayed the character Maxwell Lord in 'Wonder Woman 1984,' where he had to appear clean-shaven. The 2020 superhero film, directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, was a follow-up to the 2017 'Wonder Woman' and part of the DC Extended Universe, premiering in theaters and on HBO Max on Christmas Day.

Though willing to adapt appearances for roles, as noted in his performance in 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' Pascal seems to prefer his signature look for the majority of his projects. He brings his talents to the Marvel Universe, set to reprise his 'Fantastic Four' role in the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday.'
