Directed by Shazia Iqbal, renowned for her short film 'Bebaak', 'Dhadak 2' hit theaters on Friday. Distributed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, the film has resonated with audiences, despite facing delays related to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The sequel to the 2018 release 'Dhadak', which launched the careers of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, continues the story of love across social divides. Originally scheduled for a November 2024 release, 'Dhadak 2' overcame several challenges to debut on the big screen.
