Supported by Sameer Nair's Applause Entertainment, 'Gandhi' is an ambitious project based on esteemed historian Ramachandra Guha's books. The series aims to craft a deeply personal yet universally significant narrative, with this world premiere acting as a quiet revolution on the global stage.
Adding to its allure, the cast includes Bhamini Oza as Kasturba Gandhi and 'Harry Potter' actor Tom Felton as Josiah Oldfield. The 50th edition of TIFF, running from September 4 to 14, will include Q&A sessions with creators and cast, promising engaging discussions beyond the screens.
